I was quite pissed about this because Samson (new staff) did not even install the following software on his computer of responsibility:
- Microsoft Office (I installed it when a user complained)
- Exceed for NT (requested by CS students)
- standard AV software (NAI from depot.berkeley.edu, not Norton POS SW)
- etc (realplayer basic for lecture watching, ppt-viewer, &c)

Windows: D -- cause I had to install BASIC productivity apps
UNIX: n/a -- I don't know what type of linux/bsd is on here, or if there really is one.
