Calbot Contest
Here are some pictures of my Coolest Calbot. Fall 2002
Features:
- Position control: move in one of the four directions depending on the
number of clapping detected. The top view shows the circuit I built manually
for this purpose.
- Remote position control: bought a little remote control car in flee market
and transplanted its remote control on my Calbot.
- Sonar obstacle detection: avoid obstacles 50cms away.
- 3-way path finding: once obstacle is detected, it returns left-45°and
right-45°, measure the distances of the obstacles in both directions. Then it
chooses the to move in the direction whichever has obstacle further away.
