08/07/04 - New exciting position! ASUC Sustainability Policy Director – this position reports to the ASUC Office of the President, and oversees sustainability policy development at the ASUC. Areas of purview would include ASUC purchasing policies, ASUC operations and administrative policies as they pertain to sustainability concerns, ASUC sponsored events and projects, and other aspects of the ASUC and its affiliates. Sustainability Policy Director would manage student intern(s), and also participate in Office of President activities.
Term: 1 year. Estimated time commitment: 15 hours/week.

08/04/04 - The Student Recycling Education Coordinator program is no more! It is now the Student SUSTAINABILITY Education Coordinator program and covers topics like energy, water, recycling, reuse, green purchasing and transportation. Although we won't be able to cover all of these this year, we will try our best to give students a sense of what sustainability is and what they can do to help.
