NWC Photo Album

These are a couple of pictures that I had from Northwest Classen. You may download any of them if you like, however I would appreciate it if you would not put these up on your own website, at least not without citation. More will be up soon. If you have pictures that you would like to have here, please send me an e-mail.

This is a shot of NWC in 1997 as a thunderstorm brews in the northwest.  Not much has changed over the years to the exterior of the school in this view (although the clock tower has not worked in years).
This is an aerial shot of Northwest form 1957. The street running left to right near the bottom is May Avenue. Notice at the top that Shepherd Mall has not been built yet.
If you can read this message, your browser does not support JPEG format images. Please upgrade to Netscape. This is Mrs. Carolyn Church Laubach, NWC alum (Class of '64) and long-time English teacher. The student is Marvin Therasena, although this isn't a very good picture of him.

This is a photo from the 1995 Commencement. Left to right are: Ardis Marrs, Jason Sadler, Becky Willis Sadler, Anthony Meazell, Ben Hagy, Stephen Prilliman ('94), and Xo Bui. Xo passed away in 1998, and he is greatly missed.
This is a picture of Northwest's very own knight, Sir Bedivere which stands in the foyer. It was a gift of the Class of '66.
A gift of the Classes of '60 and '61, the starburst adorns the floor of the foyer.
This picture is borrowed from the 1994 Round Table, showing the Senior Window. And no, we didn't know that tempra wouldn't come off of those crummy windows.

This is from the '93 Homecoming parade, showing the school mascotts, Desmond and Desiree. We used to have a knight and lady on horseback, but apparently the people at Taft Stadium got tired of the horses. Also from the '94 Round Table.
