Our Mission

At Asian American Christian Fellowship (AACF), we are committed to reaching the UC Berkeley community with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. How do we plan to do this?

Jesus tells us how, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (John 13:35). So we strive to "love one another" by developing an open community of Christians that are marked by a love for God, for the Bible, for one another, and for those outside of the AACF community. This is accomplished through both honest biblical teaching and discussion as well as avenues for putting our faith into action.

But we do not stop at the Christian community. In fact our ultimate and immediate aim is to invite into our community those who have not yet believed in Jesus for salvation from sin and death. We want them to "know that [we] are [Jesus'] disciples", that the love we share is unique and only possible because of the love God has shown to us. And through experiencing God's loving community, we pray that those who once did not believe, will come to believe.
