The 4 Spiritual Laws 1. God loves you and created you to know Him personally. Jeremiah 31:3 | John 3:15 | John 17:3 2. Man is sinful and separated from God, so we cannot know Him personally or experience His love. Romans 3:10-12 | Romans 3:23 | Romans 6:23 3. God loves us so much that He provided a way for us to be reunited with Him. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him alone can we know God personally and experience His amazing,unconditional and perfect love. He died for our sins and was resurrected so that we might know God. Romans 5:8 | 1 Cor. 15:3-6 | John 14:6 | 2 Cor. 5:18-19 4. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know God personally and experience His love. It is not anything that we do or can do-- it is all already done by Him through His grace. (grace: receiving something undeserve) Romans 10:9-10, 13 | John 1:12 | Eph. 2:8-9 | Titus 3:5-7 So what do I do? Receiving Christ involves turning to God from yourself (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience.
