I have been entertained by the work of C. Uday Bhaskar ever since I turned to the editorial page of The Times of India and read that the Taliban "has been marginalised in the Kabul matrix." The word is that he is a member of 'India's premier defense thinktank' and apparently also an admirer of Sir Humphrey Appleby.
