Lumos Labs

Lumosity is an online brain training and neuroscience research company based in San Francisco, California.

Using Ruby on Rails, I was part of a team that implemented an interface for Lumosity's research team to post and update articles on Lumosity's Human Cognition Project.

Software Engineering Intern

Blackbaud Inc.

Blackbaud is the leading global provider of software and services designed specifically for nonprofit organizations used by the American Red Cross, Special Olympics, and thousands of other global nonprofits.

I collaborated with another intern and mentors on the QA team in Emeryville to create an app on Salesforce that interacted with various APIs between Blackbaud's wealth databases and Salesforce's built-in classes, while using Scrum and Agile development practices.

Bok Choy Apparel is an online clothing company, created as an outlet for growing numbers of Asian-American artists, founded in 2008.

I updated and maintained the Boy Choy Apparel website (HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript), as well as designed promotional graphics in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

I was promoted from Junior Consultant to this poisiotn in January 2012.

My responsibilities included troubleshooting problems with campus wifi, DHCP service, and campus-provided software, as well as helping to install wireless printer drivers on students' personal laptops.

Workstation and Microcomputing Facilities

W&MF comprises the student computer labs on UC Berkeley Campus, providing both general access (drop-in) and instructional computer laboratories to the Berkeley campus. The organization supports 600 computer seats in 14 different locations. W&MF staff design, install, and maintain all aspects of the labs including physical layout, A/V, hardware, and software.
