  • Asha for Education - To catalyze socio-economic change in India through the education of underprivileged children
  • Chaitanya - Increasing exposure of UC Berkeley students to developmental issues in the Third World (with an emphasis on India) in hopes of initiating social work programs in these nations
  • Indus - Broaden student's understanding of the social and cultural aspects of South Asia
  • Muslim Students Association - Promote political awareness to the UCB community about Muslim issues
  • Saheli - To address the needs and concerns of college-aged South Asian American women and to provide a safe forum for the discussion of these topics
  • Sikh Students Association - To educate and inform students, staff and community about the Sikh religion, its beliefs and history
  • Hindu Students Council - Organization dedicated to the education and preservation of Hindu philosophy, spirituality, and culture

  • Casa for Kids - The purpose of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Kids at Cal is to promote greater awareness of the issues concerning the plight of abused and neglected children and to recruit volunteers for the Alameda County CASA Program.

  • People's Test Preparation Service - To provide free 8 week SAT classes to urban high school students
  • Pilipino Academic Student Services (PASS) - Committed to recruitment and retention of Pilipinos to higher education.
  • Queer Alliance - Alliance of queer student organizations on campus for the purposes of providing social spaces for various types of queer communities on campus and strengthening queer activism and visibility
  • Raza Recruitment and Retention Center (RRRC) - To strengthen the Chicano/Latino community through academic resources
  • REACH - Promote a positive outlook towards attaining higher education in at-risk, immigrant, & urban Asian Pacific American communities
