Farm Workers Support Committee
Educate, agitate, organize: FWSC works specifically on supporting the organization of farm workers. Currently working on developing a new food procurement policy for the UC system, as well as mobilizing for the Cesar Chavez march on March 31 in SF, working with CalCorp on a spring break education project, and a farm worker awareness week. Also working on immigration rights issues with the Labor Immigrant Organizing Network(LION), and sweatshops issues with Cal Students Against Sweatshops(CalSAS).
