First, let me congratulate you on coming to Berkeley, America’s most prestigious public university. You have made a great decision in coming here because of the countless opportunities Berkeley affords men with respect to becoming successful individuals. A great way to become successful and fully take advantage of your time at Berkeley is to join one of the many student organizations. This is why you should consider joining Alpha Sigma Phi. Our fraternity is a member of the Greek Community (IFC) and we have chosen to distinguish ourselves from being just an ordinary “Frat.” Instead, we want to be the student’s co-curricular organization of choice. Our mission is to “Better the Man” by promoting Scholarship, Philanthropy, Brotherhood, Social events and Leadership. This year, the brothers at Nu Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi have decided to provide incoming male freshmen with a $500 scholarship opportunity. We know how expensive books, living, and college as a whole can be. That is why we have started this scholarship fund, and we at Nu Chapter plan to continue providing scholarship opportunities to young men like you in the years to come.
