About: The Race, Ethnicity, and Culture in Health and Gender and Sexuality committee strives to raise awareness of the disparities between different ethnic, cultural and racial groups in regards to overall health, while also promoting a better understanding of the health issues surrounding gender and sexuality in medicine. Our committee's goal is to help create culturally aware and open-minded Physicians through the facilitation of workshops, discussions and presentations surrounding cultural competency and gender and sexuality within medicine.
