When I was in Paris the winter of 1996-7, I went to the Centre Georges Pompidou several times because it was a colorful and enchanting (not to mention FREE) place with a really extravagant public library. When I went back this time, I was sorely disappointed.
The magic was gone. So was my innocence. *sob*
