I went biking yesterday. I rented a bike at Blazing Saddles at Fisherman's Wharf. Then I biked all the way across the Golden Gate Bridge. From there I biked to Sausalito and then to Tiburon. About 17.5 miles total. It was pretty rough in the beginning where I kept on changing my plans (from just going across the bridge.and then to just getting to the front of the bridge) but I made it. Here's 2 panoramic pics that I took.the first one is Levi's Garden near the pier and the second was taken at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. I'll be putting up some non-panoramic pictures in the Pictures section sometime later today.
Well, it's the end of a long day. Since it appears that people do check this place out, I'll keep on postin'.
For the past few weeks, I've been working at Christianity.com as I've stated before. Me and Kenneth worked on the survey poll and its pretty much finished now. My image editor (Photoshop for free on the Internet) will be out by Christmas. Heh heh. It uses DHTML, Javascript, HTML, Vignette, and Image Magick.
For lunch, I went with my aunt and great-aunt and great-uncle to Sapporo, a Japanese restaurant in Hayward. Oishii-desu-ne! Sooooo much great sushi. I gotta go back and get more Y2K rolls. Awesome stuff.
When I got back from lunch, we had a power outage which shut off everything (it was due to the 100+ heat wave currently enveloping the Bay Area.I got a fricken 20" fan just to counter its onslaught). Since there was nothing us programmers could do, me and Kenneth went upstairs and started playing table tennis (we've been playing for days now, just before we leave). One by one, people started migrating upstairs and a tournament of sorts in ping pong and fooz-ball ensued. Pretty fun stuff. Unfortunately, Jasmine and Brian were stuck in a presentation being held on the same floor and thus were not able to attend even when everyone else (besides Peter, the e-commerce guy) was having a great time. It was pretty funny when Jasmine came over and told the heads of the company to be quiet. :-D
Well, I've taken my 360 degree shots of what I see when I'm at work. That should be better than having a few individual shots. Here it is.
As promised a few weeks ago, here are the images I made with 3D Studio MAX. 1 for work and the other for personal enjoyment. Guess which is which! :-D
I've animated "Sine Art No.1" and "The Logo".You can grab Sine here (279KB). You'll need the Divx Codec which you can grab here. I'll be doing some camera fly arounds in later versions so it'll be pretty neat. If you want Sine as a desktop wallpaper, grab it here(506KB).
