I'm now back in Berkeley, CA. Didn't go to the new Disneyland addition but maybe next time. I spent a ton of time watching dvds, eating, and hanging out with friends. I'm starting work at PIXAR next week on Tuesday so I'm really really excited about that. Just cannot wait! I brought my Dad's older video camcorder so I should be transferring them to mpgs and stuff like that. The firewire web cam isn't going to come in until april or something crazy like that. Shipment of it has been delayed for months now. Starting to wonder if Irez is having some problems. BTW, studying signals and systems sucks crazy butt. Just wanted to write that. It really does.

I'm in Southern California now, still making updates to the page. I've started to mess with the Food section. Finished what I think will be a layout for recipes and stuff like that. My ideas for the restaurant list and reviews will need much more time. On another note, I got a call from Pixar today and they offered me the job!!! Aiiiighhht. The person was like trying to pitch the benefits and stuff and I was all..."Seriously, I want the job." At least I sounded desparate after they had already stated a rate. So maybe over the course of the next few weeks I might have pictures of Pixar's new hq up. I didn't want to bring a camera to the interview. hehe

I should have a better interface for the food section up sometime today. Right now it's just a list which isn't very exciting. I took some pictures for the Dreamcast section so that will be up sometime as well. I've decided that I could wait till the 1.5 Palominos from AMD come out to upgrade my computer. However, I may get an interim processor to tide me over. Top of my list would be the case. I've dealt with my mid-size wayyyy too long. It's gonna be a ATX form factor full-tower. Also, since January, I've replaced my older 5.1 setup for the DT3500 series. It's got optical inputs, delivers more oomph with the bass, has a remote, and cool blue lights. Must upload pics....ehhhhh

Spring Break has finally BEGUN!!!, anyways...the food section will be up today. Not much for now...no maps and such but that shouldn't take too long. What I have up is a list of EVERY freakin restaurant I've been to while I've been in the Bay Area. At least I hope so. I've also added a Dreamcast section because I got one in December and I've gotten tons of games for it. Reviews of some games will be up later. I'm off to a dinner party with friends so I'll work on it later tonight.

Well, it's been a long time since I edited my page. Some interesting tidbits. I'm currently working at Cal Performances @ UC Berkeley as a computer resource assistant type 2. I used to work at another department as a CRS Type 1 so I guess its a move up for me. I've been in the process of trying to get an internship at Pixar, which is based right out of Emeryville. I went to their hq for interviews and I must say that their hq was pretty amazing with a huge theater, digital projection systems and a HUGE server farm. Hopefully I get the job... I'm really planning on getting that food section up sometime soon. At least by the end of Spring Break. I'll definitely get more stuff done by then. I have some new ideas for the site and I hope to implement them at a later feasible time.
