Currently watching:
Monster on Syfy (or however it is that you spell it); episode 8 was a really interesting episode from a production standpoint, but I can't talk about it in detail until I get the boxset in December; Eva's animators were top-notch for this episode as the level of expression was very detailed... but I can't go into it unless I have pictures)
Ghost In the Shell 2.0 Blu-ray... will likely talk about in mah shitty blargh... not a big fan of some of the cuts that were re-done in 3D (it's not all bad, of course; the 3D interphases look so much better now [I'm pretty sure that Oshii is trying to match it up with how
INNOCENCE looked, but this brings with it some problems)
(ALSO, I wanna take screen-caps from Blu-Rays; ffffffffffffffffffuuu--)
I was also vaguely watching the second
Hayate disc a few days ago; show is fun, but there were no liner notes; what the fuck Bandai???
Like, there was this one joke in the
Lucky Star OAV that I didn't get because there were no liner notes (unlike the release for the TV show, which also had a dub by the way [no one cares, I know]), can someone please explain this joke?

Also, yeah, I know that it doesn't really count if you only understand it after the fact, but stuff like liner notes are important (see AnimEigo's recent release of Shohei Imamura's
Black Rain... brilliant movie and it got a great release too; real quality stuff... on the other hand, yeah, a movie about Atomic Bomb survivors probably warrants more things to talk about in comparison to
Lucky Star)
