Or, more in general, how do you tell a friend of yours: "Ever since you started dating ______, you've lost all intellectual value and would make good fertilizer for my piranha plant?"
One of my English teachers in high school was a bellydancer. For years, I've had no idea what a bellydancer actually dances like. Then, in a chance reading of my spam-infested mailbox, I found that some friends of mine seem to be interested in bellydancing/tantric yoga (funny how the two go together).
