AE History

Chartered on January 17th, 1922, AE emerged as the 27th chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha. The chapter has transformed hundreds of humble men into noble servants; men that have gone on to achieve great accomplishments.

Since its inception, the chapter has always strived for excellence in service ans has akways looked to organize actions to fill voids within the on-campus and off-campus communities. The men of AE constantly look to find creative ways to attack community issues. Out of that creativity the chapter has created numerous programs (go to Programs > AE Programs for more).

AE is known for the bond which its members have with one another. Though the chapter is constantly busy serving the community, the chapter makes it a point to develop the brotherhood amongst its members. Brothers can always be seen stepping together, worshipping together at church, taking vacations together, and just having a good time.
