Juan Argote

I am a PhD student in the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. My advisor is professor Carlos Daganzo. Previously I graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from UPC Barcelona Tech and I worked for a year at the Center for Innovation in Transportation (CENIT) in Barcelona. This site includes information about my research, projects that I've worked on, publications, bio and some other facts.

My interests within Transportation Engineering focus on transit systems operations but also extend to other topics such as traffic flow theory, road pricing and infrastructure finance. My PhD research topic consists on the formulation of different dynamically adaptive control strategies, in order to provide a faster and more reliable bus service.
