This Month's Fantastic Four!

Creative Team :

Comments : Ooohh... Variant Cover time again. Fortunately, this time, at least both covers look cool.

- Spoilers -

Summary : The FF find themselves holed up in a warehouse for the time being, since the Thunderbolts blew up their headquarters in Thunderbolts #10. The beginning of the issue shows the four trying to settle back into normal life, after being gone for a year. Johnny wonders where Lyja has gone, and Ben wonders where Alicia is, and the two have one of their trademark fights. After a couple of pages of this, the Invisible woman is attacked by a creature that only she can see. After some clever maneuvering, the FF join in, and are able to send him to the bottom of the ocean.

Review : I'm beginning to like this series a lot more than Heroes Reborn. Without the pressure of making radical changes and retelling the FF's past, the creative team is able to (almost) return the FF to where they were back in issue #416. I wish they had decided to continue with #417, but I guess they really wanted a third FF #1. It's just good to see the FF going back to normal. Scott Lobdell seems to be doing a pretty decent job so far, we'll just have to see what happens in upcoming months.
