BEACN aids clients in obtaining Green Business Certification by developing sustainable business plans and helps facilitate the Green Business Certification process. Although Green Business Certification can only be done by the Bay Area Green Business Program, BEACN prepares businesses to meet the standards for environmental compliance.

Businesses interested in being certified by the Bay Area Green Business Program must visit the program website, contact their local coordinator, enroll, submit the application/checklist, meet the standards for environmental compliance as well as for resource conservation and pollution prevention, and undergo onsite verifications from Program partners.
