Some of you have asked for additional beds for spouses, etc. However, during set up and for the first few weeks in August, the housing at Blodgett will be full and we will be unable to accommodate any additional visitors.

The houses we are reserving at Blodgett have single beds, often 2–4 to a room. You will need to bring your own bedding – sheets, pillow cases, and towels (blankets are provided). The houses are usually heated by a fireplace (chopped wood is available) and have minimally equipped kitchens (expect a stove, oven, and basic kitchen needs – i.e. a few random pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, eating and cooking utensils, and usually an automatic drip coffee maker). If there is something else you would like to have, I suggest bringing it.

The nearest town where folks will be staying is Georgetown. It takes about 20 minutes to cover the 13 miles into town. In Georgetown you will find a grocery store, gas station, hardware store, post office, and several restaurants (among other things).

The nearest commercial airport is in Sacramento. The drive from Sacramento is approximately 80 miles and about 1.5 hours. Directions can be found here.
