getting to know beno

beno was born at the university of michigan hospital in ann arbor, michigan on august 21, 1975. his family moved from michigan to illinois to idaho and finally to california. beno grew up in san jose, california. after graduating from leland high school , he moved a few minutes north to berkeley for college.

beno studied mechanical engineering at the university of california at berkeley. he graduated from cal on may 23, 1998. in his spare time beno likes to train in the taekwondo club at the university of california's martial arts program . currently, beno holds the rank of first degree black belt in taekwondo.

for the past year and a half, beno has been interning as an engineering aide at the east bay municipal utility district . ebmud provides water to alameda county, california. beno likes to practice mixing dance music as a professional deejay and playing guitar. he also likes snowboarding. and most of all, he likes. . . .!
