'twas that winter day when i ordered my skateboard from tactics.com, i think. i think 'twas a cloudy day, but i 4get. i know kaela was gone 4 some chiropraktic thing, n' i felt really restless. neway, i can get the entertainment book 2007 4 $22. that's more than $10, obviously. however, this book does have some ¢oupon$ to nicer restaurants like monsoon in mtn view on the chic castro. [a li'l later] oh, ok... the day i bought my skateboad was 2006년01월21일. i received it on 2006년01월25일. we're almost @ my 1.yr anniversary'f my return to skateboarding. however, maybe what's more significant'll be my 1.yr anniversary'f my 1st visit to the sunnyvale skate park, which was in 2006년05월 may'f 2006. aktually, 'twas 2006년05월20일.
[later] 오후: during my lunchbrk, i went over to palmer west chiropraktic college's tasman clinic to get treated by the beautiful kaela hwang. afterward, we had a hasty lunch @ the nearby extreme pita. [later] kaela had a small (6")gyros sandwich, n' i had a "regular" or large (9") philly cheesesteak sandwich. extreme pita isn't a terribly terrific joint, but it's ok. i can find better falafel sandwiches @ house'f falafel, falafel drive in, or eat.a.pita; better gyros sandwiches @ yiasoo, athena grill, or daphne's; better cheesteak sandwiches @ steven's cheesesteaks, the cheesesteak shop, or i.b. hoagie's. this place tries to do so much, but it ends up being just so.so @ all'f'em. still, the fud's decently fresh, healthy, n' customisable. i appreciate the option to add hummus to my sandwich @ no additional charge. on our way back to my car from this quick, quick lunch, we ran into my sister grace's friend leena's husband omar. i already knew he werks in that area 4 a silikon valley semiconduktor company. silikon valley @ lunchtime.
i didn't really get ne exercise 2day, n' that's bad. ever since we came back from the recent snow trip, i've had tortilla chips in my car. i've been eatin' them every.so.often, 2 often. 2nite, i'll miss both sach's n' will's turbo kick box (tkb) classes cos i've got a "core" mtg 4 my grx t3 light couples bible study small group. if i hadn't had my chiropraktic apptmnt this noon, i would've hit up the sunnyvale skate park 4 'nother lunchtime skate sesh. sure, skateboarding's not conventional exercise, but it's better than most ppl'll ever know.
[later] i'm glad that we went to tahoe last wknd cos i didn't plan on goin' to tahoe this wknd cos it's mlk, jr. wknd, n' thus tahoe'll be super.crowded. my ol' cowerkers from the college program r goin' snowboarding over the 01월26~28일 wknd. however, kaela's gettin' lasik done the next wk - not so much 4 cosmetik purposes but 4 serious health purposes since she's been gettin' frequent eye infektions from her contakts. 4 lasik, she hast'a stay off'f contakts 4 a wk, ie 7 days. she can't snowboard w/o contakts rt now, so she wouldn't be able to go snowboarding that wknd. however, *shrug* maybe i'll try to make a day trip on that sat to meet up w/ my cowerker friends. [later] in ne case, this wknd... i didn't plan on snowboarding this wknd. i planned on usin' this wknd to 1) do base repair n' maintenance on my snowboard, 2) skateboard @ the sunnyvale skate park, 3) catch up on household maintenance tasks - somehow mount the hot surface ignitor int the furnace, despite the fakt that the technician from performance air n' heating took the bracket w/ him; finally take down the christmas tree; finally get rid'f some yard waste; gen'lly clean up / tidy up... i also have some issues pertaining to 'puter hardware, 'puter software, 'puter files (musik, pix) to sort out. dude... there's always some werk to do 'round the house. i've sed b4 that in the modern era, u hafta do housekeepin' in ur house n' also do housekeepin' in ur 'puter. crazy.
u may've overlooked or 4gotten that my palm tungsten t5 pda's been in the shop 'gain 4 repairs since b4 the winter break. yup. *sigh* yup, it broke down 'gain. i'm s'pposed to get it back soon. i'm contemplating this tho': what if i sell off the refurbished unit that they'll send me n' then buy a brand new palm t|x like kaela's? the advantage? built.in wi.fi. the disadvantage? less built.in storage. let's find the aktual specs to compare: the t|x has "128mb w/ 100mb accessible to user." the t5 had "256mb flash memory (215 mb available): 55mb program memory, 160mb internal drive." processors? t|x: intel 312 mhz arm.based processor. t5: intel xscale processor (arm) 416 mhz. *sigh* dude, it's a real toss up!!! the main advantage to sellin' off the refurbished unit n' buyin' a new t|x'd be to get a full warranty. built.in wifi? yah, that's nice, but i've already got the wi.fi sd card... which is only so.so convenient, of course.
