Teleflora.com: Sending Flowers on Valentine's Day experience

I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day. The flowers were not delivered until 5:30 pm. I understand it can be busy on that day, but that's not how business should run. That's poor performance. But that's okay, except they delivered the wrong one. Instead of delivering the item I ordered (a month in advance), they substitued it with a cheap vase. I have to spend time calling them to fixed the problem. It was fixed at the end. Still, it was no longer Valentine's Day. I somehow feel that they ran out of the special edition vase for the day and try to substitue it. But if I never talked about it, I would never have knew that they made a mistake. I guess I will not order from that website again. It's sad b/c they have some nice flowers. But I no longer trust their vendors. The site I ordered it from is teleflora.com.

Tip: Next time if you order flower, place a time range on comments.

  • I worked for a large florist for several years, and I know firsthand that they take far too many orders, knowing full well they not be able to fill all of them. I don't know for sure, but I would image that online florist send those orders to a local florist in your area, therefore you have the same problem with on time delivery, subbing a vase, etc. Better luck this year to you.
