Cal Bridge Club
Meetings
We will start meeting again this semester soon. Send me an e-mail (see the
bottom of the page) if you'd like me to add you to our mailing list. I'll
be sending out a poll for when we should meet this semester soon. Last
semester, we met Monday afternoons from 4 to 6 PM in the Bear's Lair (that
cafeteria-type-place next to the student bookstore under MLK). We've been
playing casual bridge at our meetings and generally play some duplicate if
enough people show up.

General Bridge Links
- Bridge Base
Online is by far the best free online bridge program at the moment
- Richard Pavlicek's
webpage has bridge puzzles, polls, and quizzes, and lots of other good
bridge stuff.
- Jeff Goldsmith's
webpage has lots of articles and some fun "bridge movies."
How to Play Bridge
- Richard Pavlicek has a nice introductory lesson here. Be sure to check out his link
at the bottom of the page to more extensive learning material.
- Karen Walker has a collection of articles for beginners here (but if you don't know how to
play at all, you should probably check out Pavlicek's site first).
- The ACBL has a "Learn
to Play Bridge" program developed by Fred Gitelman (of Bridge Base)
which I hear is quite nice.
