SUMMER 2002 ADVANCED FILIPINO ABROAD PROGRAM

The Consortium for the Advancement of Filipino announces that the Advanced
Filipino Abroad Program will be held at the Philippine Normal University
(Manila, Philippines) from June 14 - July 27, 2002.

This intensive six-week program is open to students with at least college
intermediate level study of Filipino (Tagalog) language (or the
equivalent). Applicants must be a university junior or above (a graduate
student), a US citizen, or permanent resident. Teachers are urged to
apply. Native speakers are not eligible.

Application deadline: JANUARY 31 2002 (THURSDAY). For more information
