Authors must be either undergraduates or recent BA/BS graduates of the UC Berkeley. We accept research paper submissions on a rolling basis. However, adhering to the following deadlines will ensure that your paper, if approved for publication, will appear in the next published issue. Submissions received after the deadline may be delayed an additional semester before being published.

DEADLINES.

The deadline to inform us of your intent to submit a research paper for the upcoming issue is Saturday, March 1, 2008. You can do so online here.

Research Paper Formatting: Please follow these guidelines when submitting your paper. Submit two hard copies and one electronic copy on CD to the Berkeley Scientific Journal mailbox in 301 Campbell Hall.

Features Submissions

BSJ accepts submissions for the features section of the journal on a rolling basis. Previous submissions have inluded book reviews, news, opinion pieces, review articles, etc. Generally, a feature will be submitted within the first month of the semester prior to its printing. If you would like to submit a feature, please contact us via e-mail.

Most of the features writers are BSJ staff members. If you're interested in writing, why not come and meet others interested in writing? Collaborations are encouraged, and the occasional social event / pizza catered stuffing party will make it more than worth your while.
