SINCE 1996, OUR MISSION HAS BEEN TO:

· To promote the enrichment, elevation, strength and diversity of legal education and the law profession by encouraging students and graduates of African descent as well as others to consider attending law school and therefore increase the representation of Blacks with law degrees working within the legal profession as well as in other areas where legal training would prove to be an asset · To provide those with law school aspirations with support, motivation, information and access to discounted services to assist them in becoming competitive candidates for professional law school admission and thus to improve their chances for successful admission and matriculation into law schools

· To enable those with law school aspirations to have access to human and informational resources in order to make thoughtful and informed choices about pursuing a law degree through information regarding the realities of law school, the legal profession and the various avenues for those with a law degree

· To provide pre-law students and graduates with various opportunities to network and thus establish and develop supportive, information-sharing relationships with other Black pre-law students

· To work in collaboration with other law student and lawyer organizations in order to provide opportunities for them to establish and cultivate professional networking and mentoring relationships with law students, law graduates and lawyers who can assist them in the achievement of their professional goals
