About Us
Cal Dragonboat is a student group at UC Berkeley: we are
a recreational dragon boat club. We are composed of a bunch of crazy loud kids that like
to have fun both on and off the water but dont let that fool you
into thinking we're slow on the water - we have a history of
success!
Practice Times
During the school year, water practices will be held in Alameda on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We meet at 9:00AM
sharp (no Berkeley time!) at the Underhill parking lot (on College between Haste and Channing), and usually return
between 12:30 and 1:00PM, unless we decide to go to dim sum afterwards :].
Remember to bring water/Gatorade, a towel, and comfortable clothes that you wouldnt mind
getting wet. Jeans are definitely NOT recommended.
Since our practice schedule does change, please refer to our Evite invitations and Google Calendar
for scheduled practices. Please contact Jennifer Woo
to get yourself our on emailing list.
Paddles, PFDs,
and other equipment are provided at the practice site.
If you can drive, please contact
Jennifer Woo or Luke Cassereau so that we can
coordinate carpools to the practice site. Permanent drivers will
be reimbursed and are exempt from paying membership fees!
