Welcome to the website of the Disabled Students' Union (DSU)!
We're a group of students at Cal dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities and educating our campus and surrounding communities about disability issues.

Disability Awareness Week is April 16th – April 20th
Educating the University and the Berkeley Community on the livelihood of Students with Disabilities
- Monday, 4/16 - Sexuality Panel on Lower Sproul at 2 PM. Discuss the truths regarding sex and relationships for people with disabilities.
- Tuesday, 4/17 - Wheelchair Basketball at RSF at 2pm. Sign up to join a team or come watch! Both disabled and non-disabled individuals welcome.
- Tuesday, 4/17 - Open Mic Night at Naia Lounge. Come show off your talent or join us for a night of laughs and good music starting at 7 PM.
- Wednesday, 4/18 - The Dean of Students and ASUC representatives will experience a day in the life of a student with a disability as they ride in wheelchairs for the day. Be sure to listen to them recount their experiences in Eshleman Hall Senate Chambers at 9 PM!
- Thursday, 4/19 - RSF Staff Workshop regarding disability sports and recreational activities starting at 11:15AM in RSF.
- Friday, 4/20 - "What It Means To Be Alive: Living With A Chronic Illness" Bring your own brown bag lunch and listen to Gideon Sofer’s journey living with Crohn's disease from 12-1 PM in the Gender & Equity Center, Room 212 Chavez.
- Friday, 4/20 - Enjoy a student produced movie and their perspective on life at 2424 Haste Street - Rochdale Lounge at 6 PM. All are invited!
