The California Actuarial League works closely with the Democratic Education at CAL (Decal) program in order to provide actuarial exam preparation classes. These classes may be the single greatest contribution our organization offers the campus.
We offer Decal classes for the first two examinations: Exam 1/P: Probability and Exam 2/FM: Financial Mathematics
Though we recommend that our students have either completed prerequisites for our Decals or are taking them concurrently, we teach our classes under the assumption of no prior knowledge of the subject matter. Everything is taught in a practical manner with the sole emphasis on passing these exams.
