The 17th Annual UC Berkeley Chinese Martial Arts Tournament (CMAT17) will be held on Saturday, April 11th, 2009 at Haas Pavilion on the UC Berkeley Campus.   • Results Posted (2009.05.08) The results of the tournament are now posted. We apologize for the lack of updates to the website. The issues on our web host appear to be fixed.
  • Draft Schedule Posted (2009.04.06) A draft schedule is now available. Please remember that the schedule is subject to change without notice.
  • Event Schedule (2009.04.05) We are currently working on a planned Event Schedule, which will be posted up soon. In the interests of efficiency, we are unable to give exact times for any given event. However, the Event Schedule should help you determine approximately when you should arrive at the tournament site. Keep in mind that this schedule is subject to revision when necessary to keep the tournament running smoothly.
  • Registration Closed (2009.03.21) The deadline for registration has been reached. Registration for CMAT17 is now closed.
  • ShoutOuts and Volunteers (2009.03.16) Get your ShoutOuts before it's too late! Details can be found on the ShoutOuts page. And if you're interested in volunteering at CMAT, see details on the Volunteers page.
  • Registration Page Update (2009.03.15) Nandu: There is now a nandu submission instruction section under the regular submission instructions. Please note that the deadline is still the same as previously posted - March 21, 2009. Late fees will be charged.

    All-Around Champion: 8-12 year old all-around and 13-17 year old all-around categories and event requirements have changed. Please plan accordingly. Check the registration page for details.

    Disqualifications: The General Rules section has been updated. Please read it carefully.
  • Registration Update (2009.03.11) Registration is filling up fast! Only a few spots remain so sign up soon before the 450 competitor cap is reached! Remember, you are not officially registered for the tournament until your payment is received and confirmed.
  • Housing and Sponsorship Updates (2009.03.08) Information regarding hotels and motels near the tournament have been posted on the Venue page. Information regarding sponsorship pages is now available on the new Sponsorship page.
  • Site Updates (2009.02.16) There is now a registration form in DOC format. Also, some of the problems with the Chinese characters in the nandu PDFs have been fixed.
  • Nandu PDFs Updated (2009.02.06) The PDFs for nandu have been updated. The problems with opening them should be fixed; however, some of the Chinese characters remain garbled.
  • Registration Now Open (2009.02.03) Registration is now open! Check the Competitors page for registration instructions and tournament rules.
  • Rules and Forum Up (2009.01.24) General rules are now posted on the Competitors page. Please review them and make sure your forms fit regulations. The CMAT17 Jiayo! Forum is now up and running. Suggestions or questions are welcome. Please check if your questions are already answered on the forum before posting a new topic or e-mailing the staff.
  • Tournament Website Goes Live (2008.11.25) Welcome to the official website of the 17th Annual UC Berkeley Chinese Martial Arts Tournament.
