Entrepreneurship Crash Course: An Introduction to Entrepreneurship is a two-unit course offered at UC Berkeley every semester by Aditya Mahesh and Saleh Altayyar, two student entrepreneurs who are undergraduates at UC Berkeley. The course seats around 50-75 students each semester and covers all aspects of starting a business, from coming up with an idea to developing a product, raising funding, marketing, and more.

Students form teams at the beginning of the semester and work through every stage of creating a business plan. At the end of semester, teams will present their business plans in front of a panel of venture capital judges.

Throughout the semester, we read excerpts from the Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki, The Long Tail by Chris Anderson, The Four Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss, and The Last Lecture by Randy Pausche. We also invite a number of prominent speakers to come guest lecture including bestselling author Chris Anderson and Sarvesh Mahesh, the founder of Tavant Technologies, one of the largest IT Firms in the world.
