Yvette Lim (Singapore) attended law school at the National University of Singapore from 2004 – 2008, where she earned a Bachelors of Law (LLB). After passing her practical exams in December of that year, she began working with Allen & Gledhill, LLP, where she is currently completing her internship requirement in order to obtain her professional license (anticipated November 2009). |

Aviva Nababan (Indonesia) is a researcher and interpreter based in Jakarta,Indonesia. She has Masters degree in International Relations and has been involved in a number of projects related to transitional justice, the most current is as a researcher for the Advisor to the Timor Leste-Indonesia Truth and Friendship Commission. She is participating in the Monitoring Team for ECCC representing the Institute for Criminal Justice Reform (ICJR), a Jakarta based NGO dedicated to the establishment of rule of law and the reform of the legal system and institutions in Indonesia |

Vineath Chou (Cambodia) is the manager of the Court Watch Project, and Acting Head of the Legal Unit of the Center for Social Development (CSD), a leading Cambodian non-governmental organization and partner to AIJI. Vineath is a member of the Cambodian Bar Association and has a LLB from the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE) as well as a degree from University of Lumiere Lyon II with its French office located in Phnom Penh. She has also recently completed her Masters of Law (LLM, Private Law) at RULE. Vineath has extensive experience in legal and human rights advocacy skills, conducting litigation, negotiations, writing legal advice, and giving legal trainings as well as organizing community events. Prior to working at CSD she was a public interest lawyer working for the Public Interest Legal Advocacy Project "PILAP", at the Community Legal Education Center (CLEC) from 2004-2007. Vineath has traveled extensively overseas to continue her legal education, both as a recipient of a scholarship from the Bar Association of Bourges (France) and for legal training and workshops to East Timor, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Sovanna Sek (Cambodia)earned her Law Degree in 2005 and is currently a member of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia. She is currently working as an Attorney-at-Law at CLEC, who has kindly enabled Sovanna to join the AIJI Monitoring Program for a period of six months. Prior to joining the program, Sovanna also completed an internship at the Office Co-Prosecutors in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia (ECCC) as well as a three-month work experience program as a Law Fellow in the Program on Rights and Justice (PRAJ) for the East-West Management Institute, Cambodia (EWMI). It was her work at EWMI which enabled Sovanna to work for CLEC. |

Sibylle Dischler (Switzerland) studied law at the University of Zurich and Leuwen (Belgium). She graduated in 2006 with a Masters of Law and is now conducting her doctoral research (at the University of Zurich). Before joining the monitoring programme, Sibylle was an intern at the Extraordinary Chambers for five months, working closely with a lawyer for the civil parties, Ms Silke Studzinsky.

Pheak Savornt (Cambodia) was born in Sophy village, Kampong Svay commune, Serey Sophorn district, Battambang province. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Law in 1998 at Faculty of Law and Economic Sciences, and a candidate for Master Degree in Law at Pannasastra University, Phnom Penh. His work experience include Court Monitoring, Media Monitoring, Program Development, Administration, Human Rights works, Election Monitoring, Decentralization, Research, Training/Workshop.

Romana Weber (Switzerland) studied law at the Universities of Zurich and Geneva. She graduated in 2007 with a Masters of Law and is currently obtaining her doctoral qualifications from the University of Lausanne. Before joining the monitoring team, Romana worked for the Open Society Justice Initiative in Phnom Penh for two and half months.

Binxin Zhang (China) is currently undertaking her doctoral research in international criminal law at Renmin University, China. She completed her Masters of Law (LLM) in 2007 at the same university, and has significant experience in both training and acting as part of Jessup Moot teams in China. |
