Why You Should Go

You all should go/consider going because it's definitely one of the most memorable and most significant Circle K event for a lot of members who have initially been on the border for joining Circle K that has subsequently resulted in them falling in love with the organization. FTC is a chance to truly grasp the Circle K experience, a place to learn more about our organization, who we're serving, and ourselves.

FAQ&C [Frequently Asked Questions & Concerns]

THAT'S KIND OF EXPENSIVE, PHILIP, I DON'T KNOW IF I'M DOWN FOR THAT KIND OF COMMITMENT.

IT ISN'T THAT EXPENSIVE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT HARD ENOUGH AND THE INVESTMENT YOU'RE MAKING. It's $80 (possibly less, refer to above for Price Reduction Program) for housing, food, new friends, and the experience of a lifetime. You can think about it as $80 for something that's PRICELESS :). But if you need help with the cash, please let either me and Liane know, we can help!

IT'S MIDTERM SEASON I THINK I SHOULD STUDY

WELL IF YOU HAVE MIDTERMS BEFORE then you can go to FTC as a celebration of finishing midterms, reward yourself a little, and destress. If you have midterms after - we don't have class on the following Tuesday so you can use that Tuesday to catch up! We can study together for our midterms! Or you could even study at FTC! (even though maybe if you knew you were going to FTC you could always not procrastinate! :D)

MY FRIEND ISN'T GOING, I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE

Well I'm a friend, right? and so will the other 25-40 from UC Berkeley Circle K that will be going, and the other hundred people from the Golden Gate Division that you'll meet, and the other hundreds of people from all over California-Nevada-Hawai'i that you could possibly meet! YOU'LL MEET NEW FRIENDS, TRUST ME! But if that doesn't persuade you, then you can persuade one of your friends to go to FTC with you!

FACEBOOK EVENT & 2013 RECAP VIDEO

Night in the Town of Emeryville!

What’s up, Bay Area?

On Friday, September 19, 2014, UC Berkeley Circle K traveled to the town of Emeryville to go shopping! Night in the Town of Emeryville is one of our very own UC Berkeley Circle K tradition where we explore the shopping area in Bay Street filled with stores such as Forever 21, H&M, Express, Old Navy, Victoria Secrets, and and AMC Theaters and more! We met at Barrows Courtyard at 6:00PM sharp, where we traveled to Emeryville and enjoyed all American food at Fuddruckers! Eating through ½ and 1/3 pound American burgers, we walked off our food by shopping through the streets and watching street performances in the square. We ended our night by playing a big game of Heads Up and returned safely to Berkeley for the night.

Best,
Spirit&Social Chair Leon Liang

Big C Hike

On Friday, September 12, 2014, UC Berkeley Circle K hosted our first social of the year, Big C Hike! As part of the Berkeley tradition, we hiked through the treacherous hills of Foothill and Bowles to venture through the fire trails to the monument of our campus, the Big C. At 5:30PM, everyone met up at Barrows Hall Courtyard to begin our venture towards the Big C. To begin finding our way through the hills of Berkeley, we began to stretch as a group led by our lovely Cherie Leung, stretching from head to toe. While meeting new faces and huffing and puffing up the hill, we arrived at the Big C where we enjoyed the view of Berkeley and watched the sunset before our eyes. Everyone took pictures of the view and we played many games atop the Big C before heading down to campus to enjoy pizza and drinks and games to end our night. Best, Spirit&Social Chair Leon Liang
