Member of the Week for 4/21

Andrea Kern
This member of the week drove herself and others to Camp Cazadero! She also drove Diana and others to St. Andrews to help the Single Service committee, and helped Iris close down tabling. I hear she did really well in concession stands, too. Yaaaay Andrea!
Member of the Week for 4/14

Crystal Lee
Crystal attended both the Chinese Martial Arts Tournament and the workday for the event! The ones who were at the events can vouch that we did a lot of work there. So way to go for being so helpful, Crystal!
Member of the Week for 4/7

Bethany Miguel
Bethany attended R.O.C.K., helped explained solubility to kids at the LeConte Elementary school for Hands on Science, and celebrated with the newsletter committee at the banquet! This vanilla-ice-cream-loving member is deserving of quite a praise, am I right?
Member of the Month for March

Jason Siu
This month, Jason attended Best Buddies International, the Golden Gate DCM, cheer training, movie social, and of course-- DCON! Beyond that, Jason was quick to volunteer on the poll working fundraiser with Kenneth, and helped out a lot in the creation of our club's scrabook (I hear he also acted as a secretary for Andrea and convinced her to order sushi!). Did I mention he's an active member of the green penguins as well? Way to practice service, fellowship, AND leadership! We're proud of you, Jason!

Wesley Hart
Wesley attended DCON, as well as the service event that was held during it to help make colouring books! Not only that, he also helped Andrew make the amazing scrapbook. Wesley's been the kind of guy that's around, smiling and always having a great attitude. Great job, man!

Karen Chen
Karen has been a very active member in the past week. She played a character at the Murder Mystery dinner for our lovely Kiwanians and was also a huge help at the scrapbook work day. Karen also went to Best Buddies and brought a buddy of her own. Not only that, she had a full day on Sunday and attended the Emerald 12 K Across the Bay, the DCM, and Cheer Training! Wow! Awesome job Karen!

Josh Wei
This member was a really big help! While many of us were out at Tahoe, Josh made sure to continue serving by helping out at the Lunafest work day. He also attended ROCK and joined some fellow Circle Ker's for some dim sum right after! Keep up the good work, Josh!
Member of the Month for February

Helen Ngo
After attending many events such as the Rose Sales, DLSSP Work Day, Ace of Cakes, the Chinese New Year's Run, and the Lion King Play for our single service project, Helen definitely stood out to us as an exceptional member. We would be crazy if we didn't recognize her as our member of the month! Great job!
Member of the Week for 2/24/09

Joe Vu
Joe really showed us what it means to be a leader and a model member. He attended both the Newsletter and Public Relations Committee meetings last week and also chaired the Berkeley Animal Care Services event. In addition, Joe also helped out with Hands on Science, Ace of Cakes, and made posters at the DLSSP workday! Awesome work!

Morgan Lin
This member has definitely put in a lot of time this past week with Circle K. After 13 hours of service this weekend alone, she definitely proved to everyone what it means to be a well-rounded Circle K'er. Through Service, she attended many events such as Ace of Cakes, Street Meal, and the Chinese New Year Run. Through Leadership, she attended the Leadership Forum and learned all about what it takes to be a board member. And through Fellowship, she stayed after the DCM to have Dim Sum with fellow Circle K'ers! Great job, Morgan!
Member of the Week for 2/10/09

Diana Tran
Diana was the model member for this week. She exemplified service by going to projects such as Muir Woods Earth Day Celebration, she showed her leadership by attending many committee meetings, and she showed off her fellowship by attending the Scary Movie Social! Congratulations Diana!
Member of the Week for 2/3/09

Lena Lau
Even though she's a new member, Lena made an amazing mark this week by going to Valentine's Rose Making Party, Emeryville Social, Hands on Science Orientation, and much more! She really showed her stuff at the first week of Circle K events!
Member of the Winter 1/27/09

Nina Yang
Nina, a veteran member, was an awesome member this winter, as she attended Go West!, Disneyland Social, Kiwanis Takeover, and much more! She has shown constant support for the club and always brings a great attitude!
