Projects Committee (PC)

Chair Darrell Hawkins

Time and Location: TBA

Description: The primary purpose of the Projects Committee is to get the entire club membership involved in the selection and planning of service projects. This year were not only plan and evaluate past and upcoming projects, but we will be implementing mini service projects during the weeks we do not have PC meetings.

Our "Mission"
Since service is one of the biggest components of Circle K, the PC focuses on having members' input in the types of projects offered. Not only do we aim to have service projects reflect the club's interests, but also to develop leadership skills in our members. Through the Chair-a-Project Program, members have the opportunity to really be a part of the planning process by contacting volunteer coordinators and overseeing members on site during the day of the project.

What kind of projects will we be working on?
As it was mentioned above, the PC will work to carry out mini-service projects every other week. This is to provide short, local service projects for those who are unable to commit several hours during the weekend but still want to be involved in Circle K. But keep an ear open for the projects the PC is thinking of!
