III. SERVICE: What we’re all about.

All events: Meet @ Barrows Courtyard unless otherwise noted on calendar.

1. Creek to Bay Day- 9/19, 7am-1:30pm. Join us as we clean up a nearby creek. Peter

2. Rebuilding Together- 9/19, 7:30am-4:30pm. Help us renovate homes in the Bay Area for

families who are financially and physically unable to maintain their homes. Darrell

3. Adopt a Creek- 9/20, 8am-1pm. Like working with your hands? Like nature and getting your

hands dirty? Then join us as we restore a nearby creek! Margaret

4. R.O.C.K.- 9/26, 8am-1pm. Have a fun time playing sports with great kids! Peter

5. Cal vs USC Concession Stands- 10/3, 12:30pm-9pm. Sell snacks and watch the big game! Flo

IV. CONTINUOUS EVENTS: Events you can count on

1. Kiwanis Meetings - Tuesdays 12:15-1:30 pm. Support our sponsors, the Berkeley Kiwanis at

their weekly meetings. Diane

2. Key Club Meetings – Mon, Thurs. Support our younger counterparts at Berkeley and Oak Tech

High School as they plan service projects just like us! Diane

3. Hands on Science- 9/18, 3:30pm-5:00pm. Help plan science projects for kids! Peter

4. Special Needs Aquatics Program Orientation: Sun 9/27 12:30-4:30 pm. Help special needs children exercise and play in the water! Only one hour a week commitment. Attend this orientation to learn more! Peter

V. TEAM LEADERSHIP: Refer to the back (calendar) for the committee meeting locations.

1. Newsletter: Interested in design, photography, writing, editing? Learn how you can help! Flo

2. Single Service: Plan out great large-scale projects that leave a positive impact! Diana

3. Scrapbook: Record and beautify all our memories w/our annual and award winning scrapbook! Lily

4. Kiwanis Family: Help plan Kiwanis events like the upcoming Key to College Program. Diane

5. Webocom: Help create a HOT website and learn web design! Tammy Tieu

6. Fundraising: Help raise money for our club and global charities! Margaret

7. Public Relations: Help promote Circle K around campus! Minji

8. Spirit and Social: Learn cheers and help plan socials! Matt

9. Projects Committee: Help plan current projects and give input on future ones! Darrell

10. CKI North: 10/10. Lead your team to victory playing fun games while raising money for charity! Josh

11. Fall Training Conference: Join us for one of the most popular events of the year! FTC will be a

weekend of workshops, games, service, fundraisers, a dance, and fellowship! Sign up early to ensure a
