Recent Happenings
On October 2, 2008, CITC held the program's first reunion! Nearly 200 alumni and friends attended the event, held in the Lipman Room on campus. The evening featured great food, the Palin/Biden debate, and engaging speakers: Chancellor Robert J. Birgeneau, CITC founder Dr. Michael McGinnis, and keynote speaker Professor Robert Reich.
Professor Reich, former Secretary of Labor for President Clinton and economic advisor to Barack Obama during the Presidential campaign, shared his knowledge and sense of humor while discussing the economy and current issues.
Alumni enjoyed re-connecting with one another and meeting CITC interns from across the 43 years of the program. Alumni Stories As published by the Institute of Governmental Studies at UC Berkeley.
