GIVING TO CAL IN THE CAPITAL

All donations made to Cal in the Capital are tax deductible.

Why give to CITC?

Your contributions are directly applied to Cal in the Capital’s educational programs and scholarship fund, which allows more students to have the life-changing experience of a Cal in the Capital summer! CITC programs include:

The CITC Scholarship Fund
The CITC Scholarship fund supports students who otherwise would not be able to afford to participate in Cal in the Capital.

New Student/Alumni Welcome Reception
Each winter the new class of CITC interns gathers on campus along with Cal in the Capital alumni from years past who offer advice and insight on making the most out of the program.

Spring Preparation Course
Cal in the Capital students meet every week during the spring semester for a two-hour course that invites guest speakers and panelists to discuss national policy issues and current events.

Summer Programming
Each summer CITC students get together for educational and fun activities including orientation, speaker panels, and the annual CITC summer barbeque!

End of Summer Supervisor/Intern Brunch
This year CITC hopes to revive a former program tradition to bring together CITC students and the supervisors at the close of summer. The closing will offer students the chance to thank their mentors for all of their guidance over the summer.

ONLINE

Donate to Cal in the Capital using UCB's online giving system. If you would like your donation to be designated for the CITC scholarship fund, indicate that under "Special Instructions for this Gift." There is also a space to indicate matching gifts if you are participating in a matching program.

BY CHECK

You can mail checks to:

If you know your employer sponsors a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources department and inquire as to their process for matching donations.
