Background

Definition:
A gasoline vehicle features an internal combustion engine that is fueled by gasoline.

Brief History:
Gasoline powered vehicles utilize the internal combustion power train.  However, this term is too broad and inclusive for this site’s purposes the internal combustion engine fueled by gasoline will be referred to as gasoline powered vehicles.  The fist internal combustion engine was fueled by gasoline. Gasoline has been strongly associated with the internal combustion engine ever since, despite the fact that differentiations of the internal combustion engine can be fueled by other fuels. The most common alternative to the gasoline powered vehicle is the diesel powered vehicle.
