Welcome to the Cal Pre-Law Association (CPLA) website.

We are a student organization on the UC Berkeley campus that puts on events catering to students interested in law school and the career of law. During the semester, we put on events such as having LSAT test prep companies talk about their programs, and lawyer and law school student guest speakers. Plus many more.

Purpose

Our purpose is to ensure that all UC Berkeley students interested in the field of law: 1) have access to quality information and resources necessary to make well informed decisions about law school and the legal profession and 2) are provided with opportunities and experiences that will help them gain the valuable tools and positive outlook to succeed in their pursuit of a legal career.

Membership

Membership is open to all currently registered students, faculty, or staff at the University of California at Berkeley interested in promoting the mission of the group.

All our events are free to attend and open to everyone. But ask any of our officers at our meetings about the CPLA lifetime membership dues. Our lifetime membership dues are $25. LSAT test prep companies such as Kaplan offer a $150 discount and Blueprint offer a $100 discount on their LSAT courses to all CPLA paid members.
