[1/29/06] Dinner with Carlo at Buon Appetito
Since Carlo flaked on me for clubbing he decided to take me out for dinner. I felt like eating Italian so my sister Lena found this Italian restaurant in Hayward that got pretty good reviews online. It's called Buon Appetito, which according to Carlo means good appetite in Italian. The food was pretty good and I would definitely go back there again. Afterwards we headed over to the shoreline as we froze our ass off and chatted for like 2 hours. I caught up with his life and he caught up with mines =D. Yeah he's being super anti social lately so apparently I'm suppose to feel lucky that he decided I'm worthy enough to spend time with hahaha. I know I know I'm just that cool that everyone wants to hang out with me plus I never have drama so we get to talk about the other person's problems hehe.
[1/27/06] Hanging out with Eunji and Suite 181
I haven't seen Eunji in a while so we decided to go to afternoon tea and Neiman Marcus. The food was really rich but good and I was pretty full by the time we were done. We then headed over to H&M to go shopping for cute going out clothes. I ended up getting a cute green tube top and a necklace then we headed over to Nordstroms to the Shu Uemura. Me and Eunji got our makeup done by Terrence who was really cool and spend an hour on each of us haha. I thought he did a really good job. Stupid Union Square parking lot garage charged us 25 bucks for parking there what a fucking rip off but ehh what can you do.

We ended leaving for Suite 181 a little bit late and didn't realize that Hendrick was wearing tennis shoes so he ended up having to drive back to Burlingame to get his work shoes =(. Mann seriously what a bud I felt sooo bad but I'm really glad that he came back. First of all I don't have that many chick friends and all of them decided to flake on me but Eunji. Geeeshh I have such loving friends ... freaken bitches hahah jk. So I meet up with Derek, Nick, Alex, Ken, Gerald, Jason, John, and Kim at the club. The first thing all the guys ask me when they see me is where are all my chick friends haha. God I can't help it man I dunno why I don't have more chick friends. Haha the great thing about guy friends tho is that everyone kept buying me drinks all night. I had a jager bomb, redbull vodka, cranberry vodka, and some shots. I didn't get that wasted just slightly drunk. After a while me and Eunji had to ditch the guys to see if there were any cute guys at the club. Nope there weren't but we've decided that we need to go clubbing with girls haha. We met a group of Asian guys and they were trying to guess what nationality we were. Some guy said I was fucking Mongolian and other guy said I was Vietnamese. Shit people haha and I'm not freaken Filipino either godddddd. Seriously is Taiwanese soo hard to guess hahah. [1/22/06] Watching Underworld Evolution with Derek
I haven't seen Derek in a while so we decided to go catch the new Underworld movie and hang out for a bit. I dunno I like the first movie better than the second one. The second one was waay more graphic with people's heads getting ripped off and such. Both of us totally forgot we had dinner plans so we didn't end up hanging out that long afterwards. Me and my sisters took my mom to Le Chevel in Oakland for her Bday dinner. The food and service was pretty fast as usual and we ended up having to take a lot of food home. I really want a birthday cake just so I can use my kick ass candle that spins and sings Happy Birthday hehe. I'm still really sore from snowboarding so I ended up getting a massage from Anthony when we hung out later that night. Yes now I can actually move my arms without any pain hehe. I only have about 2 more weeks at home so I really need to hang out with all the friends I promised to see while I was home.
Ooh I got drunk dialed at 11am by my Cal friends who are in Vegas for Rich's going away party. HAHa I got bitched at for being a pussy and not flying to hang out but I really wanted to go snowboarding mannn =P. Yes, Rich I will be calling your ass last this week I'm not lying you bitch hahaha. Aww I miss the guys Kasper, Rich, Trav and Stevo. They have all this dirt on me from my wild crazy college days haha and seriously why do you gotta bring up camping again huhhhh. That was how many years ago =P.

[1/21/06] Snowboarding at Kirkwood
Lena made Brent take me snowboarding since none of my friends ever seem to wanna go during the weeks I'm actually freaken home =P. We ended up getting to Kirkwood at like 11 and waited in traffic for 30 minutes just to get into the parking lot. Brent couldn't find his friends he was suppose to meet up with so he just stuck with me all day long. I bought new Burton boots before I left for Taiwan so it was my first time riding with them. I didn't end up tying them tight enough at first so I think I kinda jacked up my ankle on the first three runs. First of all Brent is pretty good and man I'm really out of shape I guess because I get really tired half way down the run =(. My thighs and calves were burning after the first few runs, but then again I did keep getting stuck in powder and sank like a foot in. I know powder is suppose to be the best but man when you're not that good it kinda sucks especially when it's choppy and you keep ended up in super flat sections. Some parts were really nice tho and for the few runs that we weren't transvering over to the front side or to the back side and actually stayed on a groomed run it was pretty fucking awesome.
[1/19/06] Go Kart Racing and Elephant Bar
I went go kart racing in Burlingame at Gokart Racer with Chris. It's a different Chris I'll call him Shorty hehe. It was fun for the 10 minutes that I was driving but pretty expensive. They made you wear a suit and motorcycle helmet =P. Yah I need to learn how to drive fast on turns without breaking so yah basically he kicked my ass and was waaay faster. Afterwards, we head out to the Elephant Bar and had dinner. I had a really good salad but at one part I was trying to get a shrimp off the skewer and ended up having a fried wonton chip bounce off my boobs and then land on the floor. Haha super sexy huh and ooh so what you wanna do on a date =P, but it was cool cuz me and him laughed about it for a good 5 minutes afterwards. Yah so I had fun and laughed a lot =D.
[1/18/06] Real Estate Broker's Test
I finally took my Broker's test today which I've been studying for non stop lately. Man it was really hard a lot of the stuff covered I don't remember reading at all in the stupid practice test book I bought grrrr. Yahh so I have no clue if I passed or not but I'll know within 5 days on my bday so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I passed. It was a really random weird day because random guys kept talking to me. Once I got into the federal building in Oakland this Mexican guy around 30 kept talking to me about random ass shit he was pretty friendly and working the Latin vibe thing. Later on when I finished up the first part of the test early and went to go grab lunch this guy Chris who was also taking the test started chatting with me. We probably talked for a least an hour about all sorta of stuff like I know he's 30 has an MBA, went to Hastings for Law school, just passed his Bar, and likes to snowboard. He was cute enough that I would definitely consider dating him if he was about to move in the next couple months for a job and if I weren't going out of the country. We walked to BART together and while we were checking out a BART map this old guy starts talk to me about the trains and telling me how to take them and which one goes where and such. It was odd I mean he was being really helpful but I was sorta weirded out. I dunno I guess I'm more weirded out when random people start talking to me on the street here in the states than in Taiwan. At least in Taiwan I know they're talking to me because they know I'm a foreigner =P. Maybe I should rock out my snow bunny outfit more often or wear my glasses heehehe.

[1/13/06] 2006 Sucks so far
I've been sick with the cough for a few days so I'm just hanging out at home trying to study for my Real Estate Brokers Test which is next Wednesday. I got hooked on Lost and since Christine gave me all of Season 1 and Season 2 that's not helping me at all haha. I'm not gonna watch anymore episodes till after my test from now on. I think my dad is going back to Taiwan because my uncle is under going surgery. He might have cancer which totally sucks =(. God this year really sucks for my family and everyone is getting serious illness =(. I mean it really sucks for my grandparents because they might outlive two of their children =(. Wow no one in my family has ever died before I don't think it really has hit me what it will do to my family. Anyway, so yeah that's kinda gotten me down and I'm trying to workout and get in shape just to be healthy because I'm realizing just how important it is. I can run for 40 minutes now cool huh.
[1/06/06] Shopping in the City with Steph and May
Steph is in town for a couple days visiting people so of course I had to go up to the city to hang out with her. We decided to go shopping in the city so we hit up Sephora, H&M, and Macy's. None of us really bought that much stuff at all and H&M stuff wasn't that great. I saw some cute stuff but it was too expensive to buy at H&M since the quality isn't that great. I ended up getting a cute black going out tank top tho. We chatted while we shopped catching up with each others lives. I haven't seen Steph in life 6 months and May in a year. Ooh saw the coolest thing at Macy's it was a vending machine that sold ipod shuffles and nano. Me and May were enthralled while Steph could careless heheh.
