[11/28/06] Picking up X from the airport
Crazy X was going to take a cab from San Jose airport to SFO which probably would have been about 100 bucks but since I had Monday off I told her I would get her. I picked her up and we went to Pasta Pomodoro in San Mateo to eat lunch. I randomly found this really cute little area with Archstone apartments and lots of restaurants. Archstone is Equity Residental's competitor.

[11/26/06] Thanksgiving
I got Thursday and Friday off work but had to go in Saturday and Sunday so it wasn't that long of a break for me. Thursday my older sister Lena and I just baked and cooked food all day. We made some really yummy pumpkin struddel muffins and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. We also did mashed potatoes and yam sticks. My mom went and bought a turkey since she doesn't know how to cook it because Chinese people don't eat turkey =P. My parents went crazy shopping on black friday at Vacaville and Windy went to Gilroy at midnight to hit up deals. Insane shoppers haha I don't get them. Lately I've just been doing the whole school and job thing. I've been looking for new postions so I'm hoping that I get called back for a Real Estate Project Coordinator position at either Gap or Google.

[11/18/06] Cal vs USC Football Game
I just got a new job as a leasing consultant at Equity Residental so I've had no free time especially since I have to work weekends. School and work is really hard. I've started to drink coffee every day just to stay up. I'm going to quit the job in a few weeks because really I'm getting underpaid and I'm waay to overqualifed. So I haven't been up to much besides school and work which is why it was sooo great to fly down to LA and see a bunch of my college friends.
Me and Lauren flew down Friday night went to bed early so we could get up early and head to the stadium. We got there about 11ish and the game started at 5 but we just chilled and had a crazy tailgate while watching the Michgan Ohio game. Marcus, Trav and Fernando rock man. They planned everything and we had a ton of real food like bbq stuff since we actually brought a grill and stove with the chips and dip. Marcus bought a generator so we could watch the Michgan Ohio game without killing someone's car battery and him and Ian brewed 10 gallons of beer. It was insane I love tailgating now that everyone is working heheh. Eunji, Stoner, big and lil Vi, and Jason showed up later. I didn't get to see Steph at all which I was pretty sad about.

The game itself sucked since we were playing horribly and we lost. Near the end of the game when they were calling a touch down for a review the guy sitting in front of us looked like he had a seizure and they called the paramedics over. After the game was over I ended up seeing Malini for a bit and Christina had a toga party at her nice ass apartment. I talked to Rich on the phone for a while. He's the world most hardcore Cal fan watching the game back in the Middle East. I can't wait till he gets back and we party in Vegas. At the party I found out Adam can speak Mandarin so we spent the rest of the night talking in Chinese. Haha it was a trip cuz he's actually really good and I need to practice it otherwise I'm forgetting everything I learned last year. Lil Vi and Jason came down to hang out with us so Me, Eunji, and Stoner went to a Bliss a Korean drinking place in LA and ate pork and drank beers the rest of the night.

[11/4/06] Tarboosh and Mr. Smith
Derek told me about this Mediterranean Cuisine place called Tarboosh where you could smoke hooka and eat dinner so I invited him, Stoner, Eunji and Gerald to grab dinner on Saturday. The food was pretty good but sort of pricey and the hooka was super cheap. I think everyone liked it and would definitely want to go again as long as the weather doesn't get too cold since we sat outside.

After dinner we decided to head out to Mr. Smiths in the city. Derek drove yayyy and we hung out there and chilled for a while. I've never been to Mr. Smiths before but it was pretty chill and fun. It wasn't as packed as it normally is for some reason. Derek knew the bouncer because they train together so we got in for free. I randomly saw Roma from high school inside and Derek I guess went to elementary school with her so he was talking to her for a bit. We hit the dance floor for a bit but they were playing really random music. I loved the huge fans they had down there tho. Ahh this was my last free weekend where I don't have to work. I'm definitely not going to be partying as much from now on. I need to find a new job after this one in about a year when I'm done with my MBA that way me and Eunji can live in the city together =D.

[11/3/06] PIKE Party in San Jo
Carlo's frat was having a party down in San Jo so Carlo invited me and Derek to tag along. I think the club was called Raw but I'm not sure. There was a 18 + side where you had to pay 15 bucks to get in and a 21 and up where cover was 5 bucks. There really wasn't that many people at the club. I ended up seeing a bunch of Carlo's frat brothers that I haven't seen since the last party I went to tho so that was fun. There were go go dancers on the bars doing pole dances which was a tad weird. After the party started dying down we went to the house to see if anything was going off there. We ended up going to a frat near by where a fight broke out. I didn't realize this till Derek told me later that there were two guys knocked out lying on the street that were bleeding. I'm kinda glad I didn't see that. Dude seriously frat guys are soo dumb some times. Yah I'm definitely getting too old for this scene.
