[2/18/05] Lunch with Lauren @Pasta Pomodoro, Constantine @ night
I haven't seen Lauren in a while so we decided to get together for lunch and see what's going on in each other lives. I ended up ordering the wrong dish. I was really craving spaghetti but ended up ordering something kinda weird that I didn't like too much. Afterwards, we came back to my house to watch Shark Tale. Yayyy. I thought it was pretty cute and we both liked it. Carlo was in town because he had to watch over Dottie while his parents were in Truckee, so me and Lauren went over to hang out for a bit. Carlo was watching Alien vs Predator was so odd because Dave was just telling us about that movie the other day. Ed came over to pick me up to watch the movie Constantine. We met up with Derek at Albertsons during our candy run before heading over to the theatre. I thought the movie was actually good not anything too spectacular but enjoyable.
[2/16/05] Reevaluating Life
So I haven't really felt that busy lately prolly cuz I've been slacking on all my reading I have to do. I'm taking 6 classes right now and now that I think about it if I were keeping up I would be so busy. I just signed up for Spring Quarter at CSUH and I'm gonna be taking 3 of my MBA classes. Freaken A on Tuesdays and Thursdays are gonna suck a fattie. I have 8 hours of class Tuesdays and 10 hours Thursdays. It's not that great of an idea to take both morning and night classes =P. I'm gonna so be looking forward to a stressfree week in NYC with my older sister. Some people may wonder why I'm taking a shit load of classes. The answer is simple ...I wanna take my Real Estate Brokers test before I head off to Taiwan for a year. On a Real Estate Market note my next door neighbor is selling their lot of land, which is less than an acre for 1.45 million buckerros. Half an acre of land just across the bay in San Mateo is going for 1.1 million. This is just straight up land we're talking about here man. There's no house on it =P. So yep I'm hoping this real estate boom in Cali is gonna go on a for a while and I'll be making bank =D. Oh on another note if you do happen to come by and visit me at my rents house it's starting to look like an Asian Museum with a bunch of Chinese vases and old furniture.
[2/11/05 - 2/12/05] Rich flew up to visit
On Saturday Ed picked me up and drove us to Berkeley to hang out with Rich. They [Stevo, Melissa, Christina, Rich, and Dave] went to the City and did touristy stuff. All of us hung out at the Castle just listening to music and talking. We started up a game of quarters, which everyone ended up sucking alot. I caught up with Rich and the things going on in his life.
Friday night Christina made us dinner. Man oh man was her dessert just the bomb ass. She made pound cake and home made vanilla ice cream and put in strawberries for strawberry shortcake =D. It was so so good ... I think that's my favorite dessert now. After dinner we played Cranium, which was actually alot of fun. It was girls against the boys except I was an honorary boy. Man we kept getting all the green cards with the creative questions. I hate the humdinger and we kept getting most of them wrong. Lauren and Christina work so well together. Christina would draw something and Lauren would end up guessing it right a few seconds later. The funniest part was when Rich and Sabine had to act out the word missionary and neither team was getting it right until Rich laid on the floor and imitated the missionary position =P. The guys ended up losing twice to the girls.

[2/5/05] Two Movies for the Price of One
I haven't seen Lauren in a while so we decided to make a movie date and watch Million Dollar Baby and The Phantom of the Opera. Million Dollar Baby actually was really good and I now I understand why it's up for so many Oscars. It was kinda a sad movie but very touching ... I even cried during it =P. The Phantom of the Opera was pretty good too. I'm no hardcore fan like Lauren tho. She knows all the words to every single song man =P. We had dinner at the Texas Roadhouse afterwards. Man that places has the best bread ever so so yummy.
Lauren finally developed her disposable cameras and gave me the doubles of some of the pictures.
