[2/25/08] One Year Anniversary
Erik and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We had both been pretty busy with work and searching for a new job so we decided to just make a romantic dinner home. We had pomegranate wine and cous cous (it was soo yummy). We've been soo busy that we didn't start making dinner till 9pm, so we ended up cooking till about 11ish. The food was spiced perfectly and very flavorful.

[2/8/08 - 2/10/08] Cabin Trip in Tahoe
Brent planned a cabin trip in Tahoe for the weekend. We drove up Friday afternoon and ended up getting suck in tons of traffic on the way up. There was tons of snow this year and the snow banks on the side of the roads were huge maybe 10 feet tall in some places. Lena, Brent, Erik, and I were the first ones to get to the house to we decided to make breakfast burritos and play Rock Band. Rock Band is pretty fun the drummer part is waay to hard for me and I'm barely ok at the guitar if it's on the easiest setting. The singer part is definitely the easiest. Erik loved being the singer hehe. It's a good thing he doesn't own the game otherwise he would be playing it all the time.
First day we went to Heavenly. I really can't remember if I've been to Heavenly before or not but I'm thinking more to no. The gondola ride had a great view of the lake but was also a bit annoying since we knew we would have to take it back down to get to the car. The lines for the ski lifts were crazy long. I ended up hanging out with Erik and trying to teach him how to snowboard. I'm probably not the greatest teacher because actually when I snowboard I don't even totally realize exactly what I'm doing I just go with the flow and coast down the mountain. I fell pretty hard once with him because I ended up catching an edge and tumbled so hard my goggles and beanie flew off. Lena went on the super bunny hill where she had to hike up the hill before going down. I don't think she had much fun at all.
The second day we went up to Sierra. I went off with Brent in the beginning and met up with Erik a few hours later. Sierra was soo much better with shorter lines and the runs were a lot longer. I went down a couple blues and blacks on the West Bowl backside with Brent. Haha I had soo much fun just bombing down the mountain. Brent and his friends said I was shredding down the mountain. I guess I'm just used to people who go a lot faster and I'm always in the middle trying to go faster. Erik improved a lot when I finally caught up with him. He can carve slightly on one edge which is huge. The day before he could only go straight down the mountain without slowing down.

[2/2/08 - 2/3/08] Superbowl Weekend
Zac invited me, Erik, and Steve down to his parents house in San Luis Obispo for the weekend to watch the super bowl game. All of us plus Kate crammed into his coupe to first go wine tasting before we head over to his place for dinner with his family and some other friends. Steve and Erik got slightly buzzed at the wine tasting. I just sipped the wine for the taste since I still felt sick from the flu and had the cough. After wine we met Zac's parents and his little brother and their dog Goldie. She's really friendly. I headed off to bed while the guys played video games and killed zombies.
The next morning after breakfast a bunch of us headed over to a near by field to play touch football. The guys seem to have a lot of fun and Amanda ( the only girl playing) was kicking ass. At one point it looked like she tackled Krishna and knocked him over. In reality he slipped because of the wet grass. The super bowl was more interesting than last years game, which I watched at Marcus. Most people in the crowd didn't really care who won.
