[3/31/07] Afternoon Tea @ Lovejoys
My sister Lena, Eunji and me decided to go to Lovejoy's for afternoon tea. We all got the Queen's tea, which actually ended up being a lot of food and we were all pretty stuffed at the end. It was just fun dressing up and chatting with girls of course we ended up talking about relationships. The food was pretty good but the petit fours were too sweet. This tea has a lot more food than the Neiman Marcus one.

Afterwards, we headed over to Eunji's place to play with makeup while Tim came over to watch March Madness. Me and Eunji love playing with makeup and we're trying to do crazy stuff for photoshoots just for fun hehe.

[3/29/07] Hanging out with Minji
Minji came back home for her spring break so I had to go hang out with her. I drove over to Eunji's place to meet up with them and then we hit up Pier 39, because it was such a nice sunny day. Crabs are 9 bucks a pound, which I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not because I don't normally buy crabs. The food was good tho and they validated so parking was free. We walked around the shops and Minji spent like 20 minutes in a knife shop because she wanted another switchblade type knife. Crazy girl keeps 6 knifes on her. hehe. We picked up Lauren from work then heading back to Eunji's. Me and Lauren drove down to San Jose so Erik could be around DD =D. Tim was Eunji and Minji's DD.

At Miyakes we had food and sake bombs. Alcorn, Derek, Carlo, Shayan, Hendrick,and Joel ended up showing up. It was just really good seeing everyone again. Stupid Miyakes closes at 10pm on Thursday lammmeeee so we hit up a bar nearby to keep drinking. While I was in the bathroom Eunji got kicked out of the bar for stepping into the bar area hahaha. So I think we left soon afterwards because everyone all had to work the next day.

[3/27/07] Hanging out in Berkeley with Jia
Me and Jia haven't seen each other in a while so we decided to meet up in Berkeley and grab lunch. In all my years living in Berkeley I never ate breakfast at La Note on Shattuck so we decided to go there. We shared the Creme Fraiche short stack pancakes with coulis de framboise et myrtilles aka blueberry compote. It was sooo yummy plus I haven't had pancakes in forever. I wanted the grilled tuna steak sandwhich but they were out of it so I got the grilled chicken one instead. While I was in La Note I saw Jenny picking up food to go =D.

After eating we decided to hit up Futura and go shopping for Cal gear. We ended up each spending about 60 bucks the store. I got a baseball tshirt to wear to football games and spend forever trying to buy a Cal tshirt. I also got a new addition to the familia hehe. I gots to give him a name. He plays the Cal Fight song when you squeeze his paw =D.
[3/24/07] Wall Climbing & Ethiopian Food
The past week I've been busy studying for finals so I decided to be antisocial hehe. Yayy I'm done and I get a week break then I have to go back at it again. Blahhh. Soo many things to do during my week off like taxes and job stuff boo. Saturday I went wall climbing again with Erik and his friend Jen. I finally got my red card so I don't have to get tested again on all the safety checks =D. I had the mean girl test me while Jen got some cute guy who kept talking to her hehehe. I tried bouldering for the first time. I like wall climbing more cuz I'm afraid of falling off the wall =(. I pushed myself harder this time and climbed a 5.7 actually. I still climb the wrong way and instead of pushing with my feet once I have a grip on the hand holds I really just pull myself up. Yah my arms are still really sore. Jen actually climbed a 5.6, which I was impressed with cuz she started out on a 5.6 and I started out on a 5 last time.

Later me and Erik walked around downtown Campell to scrounge for food and ended up finding a Ethiopian restaurant. I've never had Ethiopian food before. First of all you eat with your hands. I've never ever done that before well maybe when I was a little kid but I doubt it hehe. They give you this spongy bread that's sort of sour to scoup up the food. There were about 5 different dishes on this huge plate. It was actually pretty tastey and I would go again. I totally forgot to take a picture of the food. Oh well next time.
[3/17/07] Wall Climbing
I hung out with Erik and watched Inconvenient Truth. The movie has actually inspired me to start looking for an environmental type of job instead of trying to be a finance big shot. Things really do need to change and I'm so surprised it's taking people such a long time to change their behavior. I didn't realize how bad global warming has gotten. Erik really loves wall climbing and since it's on my list of things to do before I die I went with him Saturday morning. At first it's sort of scary especially as you climb up higher and higher. I was really afraid to fall so that motivated me to climb up faster. We went to Planet Granite down in Sunnyvale. There actually wasn't that many people at the gym so that was nice. I ended up falling on the 5.6 level climb, because my arms were just too tired by that point. Erik can go up 5.9 ones. I think it might be a little easier because he's taller =P. Once you get over the fear of heights thing it's actually really fun.
[3/9/07 - 3/11/07] Vegas Trip with College Buddies
Christina and Hatch mostly Christina planned this Vegas trip waaay back in probably around October. She booked a fat ass suite at Bally's, which consisted of 3 bedrooms and a hot tub. We got the whole Whistler Crew back together again with the addition of Lauren, Dave, and Marcus so basically the college crew. Rich came back from Iraq so we figured it was a good excuse to get together and party. I don't think we've all been together since we graduated college. *Sniff soo sad. Anyway, Me and Lauren decided to see if we could catch an earlier flight in so we wouldn't miss too much pre partying with everyone. I saw Erik for 5 minutes before I had to go through security but I thought it was super sweet he came anyway. Lauren's vodka broke in her bag so all her clothes smelled like vodka so everyone knew she was the alcoholic she is heehe.
When we got there everyone was already in the room besides Kasper whose flight was delayed. We all had shot glasses with our names on it to mark how many shots we took. Mines was purple =D. We played a round of Kings before leaving to hit the strip. Hatch got soo drunk and passed out that he didn't even come out with us. We ended up at an Irish pub and took lots of car bombs. I don't remember much else about the night tho Lauren did tell me to slow down with the drinking hehe. I woke up in pjs and sharing a bed with Ed and Lauren. Ed wasn't doing soo hot and looked green most of the next day.
We hit up the champagne brunch at Paris and the guys ended up having a syrup chugging contest. Soo gross but they wanted to do it. We watched Beerfest in the room since everyone was lazy and tired. Once we got our energy back we decide to hit up a strip club called Cheetahs. Trav hooked us up all the way and even got the club to send out a party bus to pick us up. We got a booth and a bottle of Captain at the strip club as the guys got lap dances. One of the chicks had these super cute underwear that I wanted to buy, but she told me she got them made. Boo. After the strip club were we had to drag some of the guys out we went to Light at the Bellgio. The bouncer made us tip him so we could all get in. See if I went with a bunch of chicks that totally wouldn't happen =P. But I love the guys so I put up with it. We got a table and bottle service at the club too. Man all of us turned really posh lately and had to do everything the expensive way hehe. It's all good we're moving up in the world hehe. This trip was soo much better than when we went for Hatch's 22nd bday and half of us had to sleep on the floor.

[3/2/07] Shu Uemera Makeup Event & Dave and Busters
Eunji messaged me at 10 in the morning and asked what I was doing. Since I wasn't doing anything I went with her to the City for the Neiman Marcus Shu Uemera makeup event. We ended up in the city around 2ish and she actually let me take her appointment so I got my makeup done yay. I ended up meeting Madonna's makeup artist. She was really cool and ended up telling the makeup artist to put fake eyelashes on me. The Shu Uemura makeup artist ended up doing a smoky green look on me with peachy blush and lips. She wanted to do softer makeup since I told her I had a date later on. I learned that I should use brown eyeliner instead of black because sometimes black is too harsh and to line underneath my upper eyelid. Eunji wanted some stuff from NARS so she got them to put on peachy color makeup on her. The color eyeliner was pretty cool thou I doubt I would use it normally. We then went clothes shopping for a bit before grubbing on Thai food.
I met up with Erik at Dave and Busters and we played video games all night. I'm semi decent in skeeball and I really suck at motorcycle and driving video games hehehe. The trivia game was actually really fun especially since if I didn't know the answer to something he would and vice versa. We watched Rushmore which I didn't think was that funny at all but supposedly I kept over thinking everything =P hahah.
