[3/15/08] Meeting Keira with Derek
Derek and I thought it was high time we paid Carlo and his new baby Keira a visit. I had Erik come with me just in case the mom started giving me nasty looks again. When we got to the apartment some of Veronica's friends were over meeting the baby too. Keira is very cute and chill. She just likes to stare at people and doesn't really cry or say much yet. We saw tons and tons of pictures of her. Her life will definitely be very well documented.

[3/6/08] Dinner in SF with Lauren and Ed
Ed was still around because of Spring Break, so I decided to head over to Chevy's after work to meet up with them for drinks and dinner. Me and Lauren love Chevy's happy hour where margaritas and some appetizers are all half off till 7pm. Sara ended up showing up later around 8:30ish because she had to work late.
[3/1/08 - 3/2/08] Santa Cruz Weekend
I haven't seen our little crew since Hatch's book release party so me and Christina tried to organize another trip. At first it seemed like people wanted to go to Vegas, but Vegas would be expensive and we've done the Vegas thing many a times before. So I thought it would be a great idea to change things up and have everyone meet up in Santa Cruz. Christina's parents have a house on the beach in Santa Cruz that they rent out to people. We were able to get it for the first weekend in March. Me and Erik picked up Christina from the SJ airport then grabbed some dinner at Tandoori Oven before heading down to the house. Lauren was in charge of picking up Rich, Lauren, and Ed. Greg (I haven't seen him since our college days) was up in Berkeley and picked up Kasper and his gf Judy from Oakland airport. Hatch and his gf Theresa couldn't make it because Hatch was working on a project that weekend. Booo.
The house is a cute 2 story beach house with a outside deck on each floor. We ended up drawing cards for room assignments so me and Erik and Lauren and Lucas got our own rooms. Kasper and Judy shared with Rich and Lauren. Since everyone got in so late we didn't do much had a few group shots and beers. The next day after everyone woke up and had breakfast we headed off to the Boardwalk. We rode a few roller coasters and played bumper cards for a bit before heading back to the house. Then we decided to watch Indiana Jones Temple of Doom till everyone got back. Half the group went to the grocery store to buy stuff to BBQ. We had tons and tons of food and some really good fresh salsa that Lauren made. Once people were we done eating we played some football for a while. We all decided it would be a good idea to watch 300 and every time someone said the word Sparta everyone had to drink. Needless to say by the end of the movie everyone was pretty drunk.
