[5/27/07] Wall Climbing in Belmont
After me and Erik left Jia's apartment we decided to head to Belmont to go wall climbing at the other Plante Granite. I ended up finally getting my own gear hehe after some convincing from the sales staff and calculation of the savings. I climbed mostly 5.9s and Erik got in some 5.10a and 5.10b. I still need to learn to use my legs more because I find it soo much easier to have a strong hand hold grip and just pull myself up instead =P.
[5/26/07] Shan's Graduation Party and Milk at Night
Shannon finally graduated from St. Mary's and her parents had a graduation party at her house so Erik and I went over for a few hours. I haven't seen her grandparents and parents in a really long time. It's funny because they all call me Crissy from Berkeley even tho I met Shan in high school and I live in Hayward. I saw Theresa who's getting married in a few months. There were a couple people from Windy's year and actually knew her.

I haven't seen Jia in a couple months and she's leaving soon for grad school in San Diego. Of course I had to see her before she left, so we went up to hang out with her Jieun, Regina, and Jessica. All of us hit up this bar/club called Milk on Haight Street. First of all the place was lame and wouldn't let Jia in with flip flops. We saw a ton iof girls inside wearing chucks but she couldn't wear flip flops wtf is up with that. Luckily we all got in but we had to pay 10 bucks for cover blahhh. Once we got inside the guys were kinda ghetto and there were a bunch of fat chicks. Yah the crowd definitely wasn't the poshy Marina crowd. When me and Jia were dancing on the small stage some of the chicks ended up stepping on my foot and that freaken hurt. The music was decent not that great but I had fun dancing. The guys were kinda weird and a bit creepy in the fact that they seem to like to stare a lot.

[5/20/07] Hung out at near Valley Fair
Me and Erik met up with Eunji, Asian Tim, and Stone in Cupertino for dinner. We went to ZaZang, a Korean place which was decent. I like the pizza that I order but it wasn't very Koreany hehe. I haven't seen Tim or Stone in a while so it was nice just catching up with them for a little bit.
[5/19/07] Mountain View A La Carte & Shannon's Bday Miyakes
I haven't seen Christine Huang since Taiwan so we decided to meet up in Mountain View at its A La Carte Festival. I met two of her friends from college and we walked around looking at the vendors. There was this one cool vendor that was selling super colorful dead butterflies in clear boxes but they were pretty expensive. I think for one small butterfly it was probably about 25 or 30 bucks. Yeah I don't have the money to randomly buy junk to clutter up my room.

Afterwards me and Erik hit up Ranch 99 to buy food and took a short nap before heading over to Miyakes for Shannon's surprise birthday party. I wasn't sure who else was showing up so me and Erik ended up waiting outside of Miyakes for an hour and half. Yeah those who know me know I hate waiting for people and I hate when people are super late. Anyway, it was good to see Shan since I don't think I've seen her since my Bday in January. We're both really busy lately and our schedules never seem to match up.

[5/18/07] Lion's Pub in SF
I haven't seen Eunji in a while and she really felt like going to the city to go drinking so me and Erik drove up to her place after I drop my parents and Windy off at the airport. It was already late by the time we got to Eunji's but luckily there was no line at Lion's Pub and we were able to get in. I got the fruit mojiotos of course because I think it's the best thing on their menus. Erik still felt sick and didn't feel like drinking so he got to be my DD hehehe. Tim doesn't live that far away from the bar so he ended up meeting us there. The crowd at LP is interesting half are kinda of ghetto and half are the poshy Marina crowd. Some of the guys there were even wearing suit jackets.

[5/7/07] Lazy Sunday
Midterms and projects are starting to come up so I decided to be good this past week. Man I really need to learn to be more efficient. Gah I would get so much more stuff done if I was efficient. Erik and me made dinner Jamaican spiced chicken biryani and sauteed red and yellow chard with thyme and onion. It was really yummy and healthy, which is the best. The weather is starting to get hot so we made smoothies with pineapple, cherry, kiwi, and mandarins. I love Erik's smoothies =D.

I just realized that I lost all my old past photo collages because I didn't back them up on my hard drive so when Carlo installed Linux on my laptop it all got deleted. At least I have one copy of each one of them.
[5/1/07] Free Museum Day
Eunji and I decided to hit up the De Young and Legion of Honor Museum because they were free. Every first tuesday of the month is free museum day. Lena used to go to museums all the time just because of that. I don't think I've ever been to the De Young museum even when I was younger. It got remodel and now is very modern looking. The Vivien Westwood exhibit was actually pretty interesting. I think we both enjoyed her more recent clothing rather than her very punkish past shows. She likes to be vulgar to create interest and spark people's attention. There's one jeweled corset that I really like except the part where it gives the illusion of nipples. The jewelry exhibit at the Legion of Honor had a lot of sparkly diamonds =D. I wonder how much the insurance policy cost for the exhibit.
